1 lb ground breakfast sausage2 tbsp butter1/4 cup all-purpose flour2 1/2 cups milk1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1/4 tsp garlic powder1/4 tsp onion powder6 biscuits (store-bought or homemade)Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart until browned and fully cooked. Do not drain all the fat.Add butter to the skillet and let it melt into the sausage.Sprinkle in the flour and stir well, cooking for 1–2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.Gradually pour in the milk while stirring constantly to prevent lumps.Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the gravy thickens and becomes creamy.Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Adjust seasoning to taste.Bake or warm the biscuits according to package or recipe
instructions.Splitplit the biscuits in half and spoon the hot sausage gravy generously over the top.Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
