🍯 Caramel Nut & Cherry Bars Recipe
🧾 Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200 g) sugar
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk (≈ 250 ml)
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup chopped candied cherries (or any dried fruit)
- 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Make the caramel base
- In a pot, add:
- sugar
- butter
- condensed milk
- Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously.
- Let it simmer until thick, smooth, and slightly golden (about 6–8 minutes).
2️⃣ Add nuts & cherries
- Remove from heat.
- Add chopped walnuts and candied cherries (as shown in the image).
- Mix well to coat everything.
3️⃣ Shape the mixture
