Soothing Herbal Mint & Ginger Tea

Introduction

A simple herbal tea traditionally enjoyed for everyday comfort and relaxation.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried mint leaves (or a small handful of fresh mint)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder or fresh turmeric (optional)
  • 1 cup water
  • Optional: lemon or honey to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a gentle boil.
  2. Add the ginger and turmeric, then simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add the mint leaves.
  4. Cover and steep for 5 minutes.
  5. Strain into a cup, add lemon or honey if desired, and serve warm.
