Introduction
A simple herbal tea traditionally enjoyed for everyday comfort and relaxation.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon dried mint leaves (or a small handful of fresh mint)
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, sliced
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder or fresh turmeric (optional)
- 1 cup water
- Optional: lemon or honey to taste
Instructions
- Bring the water to a gentle boil.
- Add the ginger and turmeric, then simmer for 5–10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the mint leaves.
- Cover and steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain into a cup, add lemon or honey if desired, and serve warm.
