Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast Sliders
Ingredients
2–3 lbs beef chuck roast
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 packet au jus gravy mix
6–8 pepperoncini peppers
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
Slider buns
Optional toppings:
Provolone or cheddar slices
Pickles
Coleslaw
Sliced onions
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare the Roast
Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix over the top.
Add pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
Place the butter on top.
2. Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the meat is tender and shreds easily.
3. Shred the Meat
Remove the roast and shred using two forks.
Return shredded meat to the slow cooker and mix with the juices.
4. Assemble the Sliders
Place a generous amount of shredded roast on each slider bun.
Add optional cheese, pickles, or coleslaw.
Top with the bun crown.
Serve
Serve warm with extra juices for dipping.
