Get ready for a holiday-worthy ham that basically cooks itself! This sweet, tangy, and juicy ham is slow-cooked to perfection with a glaze made from honey, mustard, and a touch of brown sugar. Perfect for family dinners, holiday feasts, or just because you want something delicious and easy! 😋🍽️
Ingredients:
- 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (about 6–8 lbs)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
Instructions:
- Prep the Ham
Place the ham in the slow cooker, flat side down. Trim excess fat if needed. - Make the Glaze
In a bowl, whisk together honey, both mustards, brown sugar, vinegar, and cloves (if using). - Pour & Coat
Pour the glaze over the ham, making sure to coat it well. Use a brush or spoon to spread it around if needed. - Cook Low & Slow
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours (or until heated through). Baste with the juices occasionally if you can. - Optional Finish
For a caramelized top, place the ham under the broiler for 5–10 minutes after slow cooking. Just watch it closely! - Serve
Slice and drizzle with extra sauce from the slow cooker.
Tips:
- You can use a spiral-cut ham for easier serving.
- Leftovers make great sandwiches or omelets!
Note 📝:
This recipe works best with a fully cooked ham—just heat and glaze! If your ham is larger or smaller, adjust the cooking time as needed. Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 4 days and freeze beautifully too! Perfect for next-day sandwiches or breakfast hash. 😍🥪🍳
Enjoy!
