Saltine Crackers with Green Onion

Here is a simple and delicious recipe for the crispy savory garlic–parsley crackers shown in the image!

Garlic Parsley Crackers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 20–25 plain crackers (salty or unsalted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1–2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese (optional but recommended)
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)

🧑‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the coating

In a bowl, whisk together:

  • Eggs
  • Melted butter
  • Parsley
  • Garlic
  • Cheese
  • A pinch of salt & pepper

Mix well until smooth.

2. Coat the crackers

  • Dip each cracker into the mixture, or
  • Use a spoon/brush to coat the top of each cracker (as in the picture).
  • Arrange the crackers on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

3. Bake

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crackers are golden and crispy.

4. Cool & Serve

Let them cool completely so they become extra crunchy.

Perfect with tea, soup, or as a quick snack!
