Ingredients:

2 steaks (ribeye, NY strip, or sirloin — about 1–1.5 inches thick)

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and black pepper (to taste)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Garlic Butter:

3 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)

2 garlic cloves (minced)

1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, or 1 tsp dried)

1/2 tsp salt

Optional: squeeze of lemon juice

1. Prep the Steaks

Pat steaks dry with paper towels.

Rub both sides with olive oil.

Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika (if using).

2. Preheat the Air Fryer

Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.

3. Cook the Steak

Place steaks in the air fryer basket — don’t overlap.

Air fry at 400°F:

8–10 minutes for medium-rare

10–12 minutes for medium

Flip halfway through cook time.

4. Make Garlic Butter

While steaks cook, mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, salt, and optional lemon juice.

Set aside or chill briefly.

5. Rest and Butter

Let steaks rest for 5 minutes after cooking.

Top with a generous dollop of garlic butter while resting so it melts into the steak.
