Crepes with Apple and Walnut Filling: A Delicious Delight

A simple and delicious recipe that everyone, both young and old, will love! 😋

🔸 Krep Ingredients:

  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 30g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 500ml milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

🔸 Filling Ingredients:

  • 400g apples, diced
  • 50g butter
  • 40g coarse sugar
  • 50g walnuts (crushed)

🔸 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Krep Batter:
    • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, eggs, milk, salt, and vanilla until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a pan, melt the butter and add the diced apples. Cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
    • Add the coarse sugar and continue cooking until the apples soften and caramelize slightly.
    • Add the crushed walnuts and stir to combine. Set the mixture aside to cool.
  3. Cook the Krep:
    • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
    • Pour a small amount of the batter into the pan, tilting it to spread evenly.
    • Cook for 1-2 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until lightly golden. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  4. Assemble:
    • Place a spoonful of the apple and walnut filling on one half of the cooked krep.
    • Fold the krep into a triangle or roll it up as desired.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve warm, drizzled with chocolate or your preferred sauce for an extra indulgence!
