  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup goat cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • Honey for drizzling (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brush each sheet of filo pastry with melted butter and stack them on top of each other. Cut the layered filo sheets into 6-inch squares.
  3. Gently press the filo squares into a muffin tin to form small cups. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the filo pastry is golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, goat cheese (if using), and sour cream. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each filo cup, filling them halfway.
  6. Top each cup with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top for added crunch and flavor.
  8. Optional: Drizzle a small amount of honey over the top for extra sweetness.
  9. Return the cups to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, just to heat everything through.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy the perfect blend of flavors!

Tip: You can make the filo cups ahead of time and store them in an airtight container. Reheat in the oven before serving.
