Lemon Garlic Chicken (Ginger-Free)

A simple, flavorful recipe with no ginger at all.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp turmeric (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken
    Mix lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
    Coat chicken and let sit 15–30 minutes.
  2. Cook
    Heat a pan over medium heat.
    Add chicken and cook 6–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
  3. Finish
    Pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer 2 minutes.
  4. Serve
    Garnish with parsley. Pair with rice, potatoes, or salad.
