homemade caramel pinwheels

Ingredients:

  • 1 game
  • a pinch of salt
  • 750ml of water
  • 400g sieved plain flour
  • 8 eggs
  • Caramel pudding whipped with butter and whipped cream.
  • 240 g sugar semolina
  • 300g sieved powdered sugar
  • 250 ml hot whipped cream

PREPARATION:

  1. Preparation of dough: Bring water, a game and a pinch of salt to the boil in the pot. As soon as the fat dissolves, we lower the temperature and gradually add the flour. Stir until a smooth dough is formed. After cooling, we gradually beat the eggs into the dough.
  2. Forming: Transfer the dough to a decorating bag and shape the pinwheels on the sheet metal. Bake them for 30 minutes at 200 ° C.
  3. Filling preparation: Fill the pinwheels with caramel pudding and decorate with whipped cream.
  4. Poling preparation: Let the sugar caramelize and carefully add the hot whipped cream. After reconstituting the caramel, mix the mixture smoothly with the icing sugar.
  5. Decoration: Decorate the finished pinwheels with icing and we can serve them.
