Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar or lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Paprika (for topping)

 Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover, and let the eggs sit for 10–12 minutes.
  3. Transfer the eggs to cold water, then peel them.
  4. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise.
  5. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl, then mash until smooth.
  6. Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.
  7. Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites.
  8. Sprinkle paprika on top for a classic finishing touch.
