White Chocolate Cherry Walnut Fudge Bars

🍯 Caramel Nut & Cherry Bars Recipe

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk (≈ 250 ml)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup chopped candied cherries (or any dried fruit)
  • 1 tsp vanilla (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1️⃣ Make the caramel base

  1. In a pot, add:
    • sugar
    • butter
    • condensed milk
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously.
  3. Let it simmer until thick, smooth, and slightly golden (about 6–8 minutes).

2️⃣ Add nuts & cherries

  • Remove from heat.
  • Add chopped walnuts and candied cherries (as shown in the image).
  • Mix well to coat everything.

3️⃣ Shape the mixture

  • Line a tray or mold with parchment paper.
  • Pour the mixture into it.
  • Flatten the top using a spatula.

4️⃣ Chill

  • Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.

5️⃣ Cut into bars

  • Slice into rectangles like the ones in the photo.
