Maple Pecan Cranberry Holiday Cheese Spread

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/3 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the chopped dried cranberries, toasted pecans, and orange zest. Mix gently to distribute evenly throughout the cheese spread.
  4. Transfer the cheese mixture onto a serving plate or shallow bowl, shaping it into a round or log.
  5. Garnish with extra chopped pecans, cranberries, and fresh rosemary if desired.
  6. Chill the spread in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld before serving. Serve with crackers, bread, or fresh fruit slices.
