2-Ingredient Cottage Cheese Cheese Sticks

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat or low-fat, depending on preference)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

✅ Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven (or air fryer):
    • Oven: 400°F (200°C)
    • Air Fryer: 375°F (190°C)
  2. Blend the cottage cheese:
    • Add the cottage cheese to a blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth and creamy. This helps the texture become uniform.
  3. Combine the cheeses:
    • In a bowl, mix the blended cottage cheese with shredded mozzarella until well combined. You’ll get a sticky cheese mixture.
  4. Shape into sticks:
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
    • Scoop out portions of the mixture and shape into 8 sticks (or you can make them flat like fries for extra crispiness).
  5. Bake or air fry:
    • Oven: Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
    • Air Fryer: Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  6. Cool slightly:
    • Let them cool for 5–10 minutes so they firm up before serving.

✅ Optional (for extra crispiness):

  • After baking, broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top.
  • Or coat with a little almond flour or grated parmesan before baking.
